General:
Bulgaria is brilliant for birdwatching and in fact all other aspects of nature, as it has a diversity of physical geography and unspoilt natural habitats ranging from lakes to mountains, forests to plains and the Black Sea coastline. The range of bird species seen at the time of year we visited was outstanding.
